You can drive any machine yourself with the joystick, or park it on a field and tap Automate to let it work while you do something else. Upgrades are paid in Parts and raise speed, tank size and unloading rate — the numbers below show level 1 first, then what the machine reaches fully upgraded.
Machines belong to four eras, and an era opens when your farm house is big enough for it:
